Big parade through Bolzano
Tomorrow evening at 5 p.m., more than 5,000 dancers, singers and musicians from all over Europe take part in a parade leading through the streets of Bolzano. The parade is one of the highlights of this year's Europeade edition. Setting off at the Druso stadium, the Europeade parade leads through the city centre of Bolzano and ends in Piazza della Vittoria. There, all participants and spectators can dance and make music at the "Europeade Ball" until late into the night.

Europeade starting tomorrow
More than 5,000 dancers, singers and musicians will be hosted in Bolzano during the next five days. Many of the participants are already on the road in order to arrive in Bolzano on time and to participate in the biggest European folk dance and music festival. From July 21st to July 25th, the participants with their colourful costumes will paint the city in the most glowing colours, and celebrate a huge folk festival together the citizens of Bolzano. During the next five days, Bolzano will be enlivened with music, dance and entertainment. "We invite all the citizens of South Tyrol to witness in person the biggest European folk dance and music festival in Bolzano", says Monika Rottensteiner, chairwoman of the Local Organizing Committee.

23,000 lunch boxes prepared
The Europeade, the biggest European folk dance and music festival, is just around the corner and the organizers are working day and night in order to make sure that this big event is going to be a success for Bolzano and South Tyrol. Thanks to the volunteers’ help, 23,000 lunch boxes for over 5,000 participants have already been prepared.

2010 Europeade: One week to go
The biggest European folk dance and music festival is just around the corner. In one week, Bolzano hosts more than 5,500 dancers, singers and musicians coming from all over Europe. The last preparations for the 47th Europeade, the first edition taking place in South Tyrol, are in full swing. From July 21st to July 25th, the colourful costumes and dresses of the participants will paint the city in the most glowing colours.

Volunteers getting ready for the Europeade
In two weeks, the 2010 Europeade, the biggest European Folk Dance and Music festival, taking place in Bolzano will be kicked off. More than 70 volunteers are already getting ready for this big event. Today (Friday, July 9th) evening at 7 p.m., the briefing and training session for the volunteers will officially start at the Sheraton Hotel in Bolzano. From July 21st to July 25th, more than 5,500 folk dancers, musicians and singers coming from 30 European countries will participate in this year's Europeade. For over a year, the Local Organizing Committee of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Volkstanz South Tyrol has been planning this happening. Without the volunteers' help, though, the organization of such a big event would just be unimaginable.
