Philosophy of our volunteers program
Today, big events like the 2010 EUROPEADE are just unimaginable without the volunteers' help.
Volunteers play a very important role in the organisation of big national and international events as they make a particular contribution to the happening. Their helpfulness and their intense contact with the performers and visitors characterize the event and will always stay in the participants' mind. The volunteers' commitment and motivation are the key contributions to a successful event. Moreover, our volunteers program brings together people of different ages, sex, ethnicity and social background, which is the core of the EUROPEADE's philosophy.
In addition, our volunteers can expect memorable moments and encounters. By contributing to the success of the event and experiencing its atmosphere, they have the unique opportunity to be part of this year's Europeade.

Prerequisites are not essential for your application as a volunteer. A good knowledge in the cultural and musical sector in general or in the folk dance and folk cultural field is a plus, though, as the Europeade is a big cultural happening. You might have gained some experience in associations or during big events, which is considered an asset for your application. Also, it is to your advantage if you know the city of Bolzano and speak several languages.
May I apply even though I live abroad?
Absolutely. Everyone, no matter what nationality or country, can apply. We do not bear the travel and accommodation expenses, though. These costs are to be met by the volunteers themselves. In addition, a good knowledge of the German, Italian and/or English language is required.
When will I know whether I have been selected or not?
